Kid-Friendly Matzo Recipes for Passover

This year, Passover begins the evening of Wednesday, April 8 and ends evening of Thursday, April 16. For people of the Jewish faith, this is a time of religious significance.

Chabad.org explains the importance of matzo (also called matzah, matzoh and matza) this way: “When our forefathers left Egypt, they were in such a hurry that there was no time to wait for the dough to rise. They therefore ate matzah, unleavened bread.” Eating matzah is one way to remember that event and celebrate Jewish heritage.

These recipes use matzo in kid-friendly dishes like matzo granola and matzo grilled cheese. Finish your meal off with matzo s’mores or chocolate caramel matzo.
